Nike have really stepped up their game with the announcement of their new collab with Yoon Apparel dropped this week.
Rest assured that the courts can brace themselves for an ace new drop-shot that will most certainly keep the likes of Lacoste, Yonex, Asics, Mizuno, Wilson, Babolet and even Head turning heads and most certainly on their toes.
Nike’s new collaboration with fashion designer Designer Yoon Ahn and professional tennis star Naomi Osaka is a perfect example of Nike demonstrating that functional sports shoes do not have to compromise on style. Far from it. After all, endurance, professionality and performance are as much of a state of mind as they are physical or ability based.
If a sports person feels great walking on to a court, pitch or into a ring or arena, self-esteem and confidence are major factors in having a psychological advantage on an opponent.
Fashion designer Yoon Ahn and tennis star Naomi Osaka have had real fun designing this pair together and is a great example of how beauty and function work so well together, even on a tennis court.
The only problem Naomi Osaka may now face is, it looks like all eyes may be on her kick game and not her tennis matches!
